5.Character: It is white powder, possessing an alkaline, slightly bitter taste. 1 g dissolves in 630mL of water at 25℃, and in 1300mL of boiling water. It is soluble in glycerin and in a saturated solution of sucrose, but is insoluble in alcohol.

6.Usage: It is used as buffer, neutralizer, firming agent, used in beer, cheese and cocoa.

7.Packing: It is packed with plastics bags and woven bag, 25kgs of each bag.

8.Storage and Transport : It should be stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse, kept away from water and moisture during transport, unloaded with care so as to avoid damage to bags. Furthermore, it should be stored separately from poisonous substances.
