From being one of the 1st brands in India to register itself in the Readymade Garments category in 1960 to being one of the firsts to launch ‘White Collared Shirts’ in 1989 in India, Cambridge has a lot of ‘Firsts’ to its credit.

History: The brand’s founder, Mr. Mohanlal Bhatia began selling shirts stitched by his wife along with cut - trouser pieces on a door to door basis, when the concept of a ready made garment was unheard of. Then, came the idea to execute this on a large scale. He rented a hall above Regal theatre in Colaba, Mumbai to display his wares. With the success he achieved, came the idea of starting an exclusive showroom. What began with a single shop in South Mumbai, today, has grown to a network of more than 200 stores.

Today Cambridge is present across 30 Exclusive Brand Outlets in Mumbai and another 40 through the rest of Maharashtra.. The brand is also available through a wide network of EBOs and Multi Brand Stores in the states of Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. International markets for the brand include the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
