Founded 21 years ago by Managing Director Gareth Roberts and wife Valerie, Salons Direct specialises in supplying a wide range of professional hairdressing and beauty supplies across the UK and Europe.

In 2003, they were joined by their 2 daughters Danielle and Gemma, now Marketing Directors and soon after in 2008 by son in law Graham, Operations Director - it has since evolved to become the UK's number one mail order company of professional salon supplies.

In spite of its rapid growth, Salons Direct retains a firm grasp of its core values, identity and philosophy and remains very much so a family-run business, with customer's interests at heart.

We celebrated 20 years in the industry in July 2012. The company that began life as a 16 page mail-order brochure, now produces a 472 page hair catalogue and a 322 page beauty catalogue and continues to deliver the highest quality professional salon products direct to your door.

Based in Birkenhead, Wirral, we now operate from 40,000 square feet premises, including 4 picking and packing warehouses, call centre, marketing and design department and of course our flagship superstore and furniture showroom.
